Marcia Gadbois is formerly VP and general manager of InduSoft Business Unit of Schneider Electric. She has over 30 years’ experience in the software industry, with the last nineteen years working in start-up software companies as the president, general manager, vice president of marketing and business development. Prior to Marcia’s work in start-up companies, she spent 10 years working at Digital Equipment Corporation and a year working at the Open Software Foundation (a UNIX consortium). In those 11 years, Marcia held management positions in product management, business management, marketing, and sales. Marcia has worked in various technical areas such as AI, UNIX, distributed systems, output management, middleware, PC utility tools and industrial automation. She is a contributing author to a book titled Programming with RPC and DCE. Marcia holds an MBA from Whittemore School of Business (University of New Hampshire), with a bachelor of science in management information systems with a minor in computer science from Bowling Green State University.
