Kenneth J. Ryan

Kenneth J. Ryan, MD, is director of education at BE.services GmbH, which owns BE.educated, an e-learning platform for industrial automation software tools. Ryan is the cofounder of the Center for Applied Mechatronics at Alexandria Technical and Community College. He created the first PLCopen-certified, university-based IEC 61131-3 curriculum and training center in North America. Ryan has been president of SERCOS North America, a member of the PLCopen board of directors, founder and director of the Center for Advanced Manufacturing Automation, and chair of a National Science Foundation – Advanced Technology Education Committee.
