Cristobal Ruiz is a control systems engineer for NextDecade LLC. He is a member of the International Society of Automation (ISA) and is actively involved in ISA technical committees. He enjoys sharing experiences and ideas at college and university forums. His areas of interest include basic process control, cybersecurity of OT systems, project execution, development of specifications and standards, open technologies, engineering management and talent development, project cost estimates, fieldbuses (HART, PROFINET, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and IEC 61850), and intelligent substations.
