Ashley Weckwerth, P.E. is the 2026 ISA president and a passionate and enthusiastic project manager at one of the best places to work as an engineer, Burns and McDonnell. As a project manager, Ashley leads an incredible team that completes over 500 SCADA work packages a year. Even though Ashley is a chemical engineer by degree, Ashley has been in the automation space for over 12 years within Burns and McDonnell. She started as an instrumentation and controls (I&C) engineer for oil and gas clients working mainly on midstream refining. After executing those projects over eight years, Ashley moved into her dream job of managing automation projects for the best clients. Ashley is responsible for making the client successful and is driven by that mission every day.
