ISA's Mimo Recognized as a 2025 CODiE Awards Finalist

The International Society of Automation (ISA) is excited to share that MimoSM, our large language model (LLM) trained on ISA content, has been named a Finalist in the 2025 CODiE Awards in the Best AI Enabled Content Solution category.

2025-Finalist-CODiE-colorThe CODiE Awards are the premier peer-recognized program celebrating innovation and excellence in education and business technology. Each year, industry experts evaluate products for their innovation, impact and overall value.

Recognition as a Finalist reflects the impact and usefulness of Mimo, which answers user questions by drawing from all things ISA-related across our 80 years of history, including ISA standards, training, technical reports, white papers, articles and presentations. It is also versed in technical topics related to industrial automation and operational technology (OT) cybersecurity.

Mimo presents this content to users in a friendly, interactive way. Because Mimo is trained exclusively on ISA content, users can be assured that the answers they receive are technically sound, and citations are provided to the source files for further information. This makes Mimo a richer and more relevant resource for automation professionals than ChatGPT or similar services. Mimo provides shorter answers to nonmembers and more detailed responses to ISA members who are logged in to the service.

ISA, which collaborated with Betty Bot to develop Mimo, is the first engineering professional society of its kind to offer a service like this.

Mimo is perpetually being trained on new ISA content, and it has been incredibly well received by ISA members and the broader automation community. Since we launched in the summer of 2024, Mimo has engaged with over 24,000 questions in 11 languages, with more coming every day. It even won a 2025 Gold TRENDY Award from Association Trends for Best Product Launch. Being named as a CODiE Award Finalist further confirms just how much value Mimo provides.

If you haven't tried Mimo yet, visit isa.org/mimo to type in your question about industrial automation. (All answers are considered to be non-authoritative and for educational purposes only.)

The CODiE Award winners will be announced on 22 October 2025. For more information and to view all finalists, visit codieawards.com/finalists.
