ISA Technical Education and Training for September and October

This education & training roundup was compiled by Joel Don, ISA's social media community manager.

In September, drill down on process control with ISA’s Process Automation Boot Camp. Designed for non-maintenance personnel with little or no background in process measurements and control, this hands-on course focuses on the physical measurement technologies, the communication signals, and various applications of instrument equipment to achieve common process measurements and control. An exciting mix of lab demonstrations and in-depth class discussions. ISA's Technician Training Boot Camp comes to Houston, Tex. in October. The week of intensive hands-on training covers all the fundamentals plus the ultimate in smart technology. Learn the knowledge required by a control systems technician with five years' experience in performing maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting tasks typical of a plant floor experiment. Review existing concepts and technology and learn valuable new skills.
