Global Call for Volunteers: Will You Answer the Call?

What if you could have an impact on the future of your industry? What if you could make a difference all while gaining valuable knowledge, enhancing your resume, expanding your professional network, and increasing your leadership skills?

Beginning September 1, ISA is launching a global call for volunteers. Through volunteering, you can give back to your professional community and help build a stronger, better future for the automation industry. Volunteering can also help you get the most out of your ISA membership.

The experience our members gain from volunteering is invaluable. Just take it from members that have answered the call and experienced the benefits firsthand:

“This was the first experience in my life to volunteer with such an esteemed organization. I have worked in close coordination at the local and district level and have learned so many skills. I recommend other colleagues to join ISA for volunteer work to enhance your knowledge, skills, and personal relationships among professionals.” – Waqar Ali

“Volunteer work gives you a great opportunity to network, learn, and share knowledge with other automation practitioners. It helps you to work and synergize with others to serve the automation field and community. Also, it naturally motivates you and the automation people around you to continue growing.” – Fawaz AlSahan

“ISA provides ample volunteer opportunities to contribute, to enhance my knowledge, and share experience with renowned professionals in automation around the world.” – Pramod Parikh

ISA’s global call for volunteers helps connect you with dozens of opportunities that fit your area of expertise and your busy schedule. Build your volunteer profile in ISA Connect and get matched with opportunities that best suit your knowledge and skillset. You can even receive notifications of new opportunities as they arise throughout the year.

A complete list of opportunities is available through ISA Connect Volunteer Opportunities List. Filter selections by time commitment or areas you would like to support. You can apply to any of the roles that interest you, and new openings are added regularly.

ISA is built on members like you, that support and help influence the future of automation. Don’t wait to make an impact, sign-up to volunteer and join the hundreds of other ISA members working towards a better world through automation. Will you answer the call?
