Celebrating ISA in the News

Written by Kara Phelps | Jun 28, 2024 3:00:00 PM

While the International Society of Automation (ISA) has been around since 1945, word continues to spread about its work on behalf of the automation industry. ISA is expanding its presence in the media thanks to its advocates who give their time and expertise to write and talk about vital topics in the profession. Media appearances by ISA rose by 48 percent year over year in 2023, and this year, they have only continued to grow.

More media placements mean more opportunities to share ISA's resources with more people. We wanted to highlight a handful of recent shoutouts ISA has received in various media outlets. Some are written by ISA members and staff; some are written by journalists based on interviews with people affiliated with ISA.

This is far from a complete list, however—our goal with this blog post is to celebrate the wide variety of contexts and well-regarded publications in which ISA's subject-matter experts have shared their insights and discussed ISA. There have been many more media placements this year than we have room to feature here. Let's take a moment to recognize the work ISA advocates have invested in growing the organization's media presence as we look back at a small sample of media placements so far in 2024.
